A woman implicated in the Sh 76 million Gemstones theft has been charged in Nairobi.
Veronica Katee is accused of stealing the gemstones worth Sh 76,170,362 from Mary Njambi Mwangi.
She is alleged to have committed the offence on 10th May 2019 jointly with others already before court.
Katee denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Anyona Nanzushi.
She was granted a bond of Sh 10 million or an alternative cash bail of Sh 5 million
The case will be mentioned on 1st July 2019 for consolidation with the file of the other two who were charged barely two weeks ago with the same offence.
