Donholm Donkey skin seller cons businessman 8 million shillings

A Donholm resident has been arraigned in court and charged with obtaining millions of shillings by false pretenses of being a donkey skin supplier.

Kenneth Onyango Opar is alleged to have obtained Sh 8.1 million from Kathirasan Naidu Subramaniam by falsely pretending that he was in a position to supply him with donkey skins, a fact he knew to be false.

The accused is alleged to have committed the offence on diverse dates between January 15th and January 17th 2017 at triple Agro Invested limited offices in Fort Tena building in Kilimani within Nairobi County.

Opar is said to have conned the victim jointly with others not before court.

The accused denied the charges before Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and was released on a bond of Sh 2million or a cash bail of Sh 1 million.

The case will be mentioned on June 5th and will be heard on July 7th 2017.
