A dreamline express bus company manager has been presented in court and charged with stealing by servant.
Bruce Howai, a branch manager, was charged with stealing more than 1.6 million from dreamline express bus company, money which came to his possession by virtue of bis employment.
The accused is alleged to have commited the offence on diverse dates between January 1st 2017 and May 31st 2017 at Dreamline express bus company in Nairobi county.
The accused denied the charges before senior principle magistrate Martha Mutuku.
The prosecution did not object to his release on bond on grounds that the charge against the accused is bailable.
The accused was released on a bond of 500,000 shillings and one surety of the same amount or a cash bail of 100,000 shillings.
The matter will be mentioned on 18th July 2017 and will be heard on 19th September before city court.
