Harambee savings and cooperative society senior employee charged with stealing millions

An employee of the Harambee Savings and cooperative Society has been charged with stealing more than Sh 13 million from the Sacco.
Christopher Seje Bolo who is the society’s Credit Control Manager was charged with stealing Sh 13,645,220, money which got into his possession by virtue of his employment.
Bolo is alleged to have committed the offence between 1st December 2017 and 7th February 2018 at the society’s office in Nairobi jointly with another already before court.
He pleaded no guilty before Principal Magistrate Kenneth Cheruiyot who granted him a bond of Sh 1 million.
The prosecution requested that Bolo’s matter be mentioned tomorrow when the other accused person will be before court for purposes of consolidation.
The prosecution witnesses have been bonded among them the Harambee Savings and cooperative society AG. CEO Renson Mwandoe.
