Man charged with stealing six million from Gulf Africa Bank

A man gas been charged with stealing over six million shillings from Gulf Africa Bank, Eastleigh Branch in Nairobi.

Feisal Muhamud Ndungu alias Said Awako Sharif is accused of stealing Sh 6,519,000 between 2nd and 13th May 2019, property of the said bank.

Feisal is also charged with attempting to steal steal Sh 800,000 from the said bank on 14th of this month.

Lastly the accused is charged with personation. The court heard that on 14th May, with intent to defraud, Feisal falsely presented himself as Said Awako Sharif to Farah Abdi Hirsi, a teller at the said Bank.

He denies the charges before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku and was granted a bond of Sh 2 million and one surety or a cash bail of Sh 1 million .
The matter will be mentioned on 29th May.
