NCPB deputy chief accountant charged with stealing 1.1 million shillings

Timothy Brianson Musha was charged with stealing the money on January 13th 2016 at chancery house in valley road Nairobi County as a person being employed in the public service.

The public servant’s case will be consolidated with a similar case of his co accused, the Director General of finance at NCPD Maurice Opiyo Midenyo who was charged with the same offence in January this year.

Musha pleaded not guilty before Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.
He was releases on a bond of sh 400,000 or a cash bail of sh 250,000.the matter will be heard on September 11th.
The two are alleged to have conspired and prepared a voucher that top management was travelling out of the country for a meeting.
They forged the director general Josephine Mbae’s signature on a cheque and presented it to Barclay’s bank.
It is however alleged that the two reversed the money after finding out that they had been discovered.
He disappeared till yesterday when he was arrested.
