A man believed to be a car dealer has been charged with obtaining over Sh1 million in a failed Porsche Cayenne deal.
Eusebio Sudi Aburili is accused of obtaining Sh 1.13 million from Patricia Wanja Namu on diverse dates between 5th June and 6th July 2020 in Kilimani area, Nairobi County.
The accused allegedly obtained the money with intention to defraud Namu by falsely pretending that he was in position to deliver to her a Porsche cayenne KBV 920W, a fact he knew was false.
He denied the offence before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku and was granted a cash bail of Sh 400,000.
