An agent for Premium Movers Limited has been charged with stealing over Sh 4 million from the company
Anthony Murigi Njenga is accused of receiving Sh 4,346,975 into his account for hiring lorries to transport ballast to China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Kenya Ltd in Mombasa being an agent of Premium Movers.
Njenga is alleged to have committed the offence on diverse dates between 7th and 22nd June 2021. The offence was committed at Upperhill within Nairobi County.
He denied the charge before Senior Resident Magistrate Caroline Muthoni.
The accused was granted a bond of Sh 2 million with alternative cash bail of a similar amount.
The case will be mentioned on 2nd June for directions.
