An employee of Safaricom has been arraigned in court and charged with conspiracy steal.
Maurice Michel Mosoti, Customer Experience Executive-Line 200 within customer care division was charged with conspiracy to steal Sh 472,006.96 the property of Safaricom Limited.
Mosoti is alleged to have committed the offense on 30th May 2018 at unknown place with intent to defraud, jointly with others not before court.
The accused denied the charge before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi who granted him a cash bail of Sh100,000 to secure his release.
The matter will be heard on 22nd August 2018.
