Four people have been charged with obtaining over 18 million shillings by false pretences at DT Dobie.
Linet Wambui Muthoni, Caroline Muthoni Kariuki, James Mang’oha Chacha and Ismael Pius Masururi are accused of obtaining Sh 16 million and another USD 29,950 (equivalent to Sh 2,995,000) from Mercy Muthoni Mbuba by falsely pretending they were in a position to import mobile phones and accessories.
The four are alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 12th June and 17th October 2019 at DT Dobie along Lusaka road in industrial area within Nairobi county jointly with other not before court.
They all denied the charge before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and we’re each granted a cash bail of Sh 500,000.
The case will be heard on 4th December 2019.
