Three charged with obtaining Sh4 million for cashew nuts (Njugu’s)trade

Three traders have been charged in court and charged with obtaining over Sh 4 million from a foreigner by false pretenses.
 
Joseph Nyamboga Ombogo,Oscar Wanje and Kenneth Onyango Opar  are accused of obtaining Sh 4,322,500 from Phudit Pasit, by falsely pretending that they were in a position to sell to him 25 tonnes of cashew nuts, a fact they knew to be false.
The accused persons are alleged to have committed the offense between 18th and 25th May at Forte Granite along Bishop’s road in Kilimani, Nairobi.
The three denied the charges and were granted a cash bail of Sh 300,000.
