A director at Wendano Matuu Company Limited denied forgery charges

One of directors of Wendano Matuu Company Limited has been charged with 20 counts of forgery.

Stephen Ndambuki Muli is accused of making false minutes of special general meeting of the company held on 14th February 2020 at Wendano offices, purporting it to be genuine minutes of the special general meeting issued by Wendano Matuu Company Limited.

Muli is also charged with forging a CR 12 dated 25th February 2014 purporting it to be a genuine CR 12 issued by the department of the Registrar of Company Limited.

In addition, the accused  is facing 18 other counts of forging signatures in the minutes of special general meeting supplied and received at Kangundo Law Court on 1st July 2020 and Environmental and Land Court Machakos, purporting them to be genuine.

Other directors charged on 10th December 2024 include Onesmus Muisyo Kimatu, Benedict Mackenzie Mutuku, Harrison Nzioki Muya and Christopher Muindi Nziba.

Muli denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe and was released on a cash bail of Sh 100,000.

The case will be mentioned on 5th February for pre-trial.
