A businessman has been charged with threatening to kill by shooting the complainant in the “behind”.
Shailesh Kumar Rai is accused of threatening to kill Punjani Riyaz Mohammadali by uttering the words,” Le Lunga Main Aakegand me Golimarrdungamadachod” in hindu language meaning “motherfucker I will come and shoot you in the a** right now”.
Rai is alleged to have committed the offense on 27th May 2022 at Parklands, Nairobi, without lawful excuse.
He denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe and was released on a cash bail of Sh 100,000.
In addition, he was will provide two contact persons upon payment of the bail.
The case will be mentioned on 24th January 2025.
