The case in which four people are charged with forging documents for a Sh 944,000,000 piece of land in Donholm, Nairobi, has been pushed to February 2025.
This after the hearing of the case which was coming up on the afternoon of 30th October 2024 was adjourned due to lack of adequate time to accommodate the witness since he is a lengthy witness.
The parties did not oppose the application for adjournment and the same was listed for hearing on 20th February, 8th and 9th April 2024.
The prosecutor told the court they have three witnesses remaining before closing its case.
The property has been the center of a battle between Sowesava Self-help Group and Gidjoy Investment Limited.
In the criminal case, Peter Gitau Muiruri, Peter Njoroge Kanika, Hoops, Shihemi Alexander and Patroba Odoyo Awino are accused of making a letter of allotment, title deed and lease without authority and purporting them to be genuine, issued by a land registrar.
The four are alleged to have committed the offense on unknown dates within Kenya with intent to defraud Gidjoy Investment Limited of the said land.
