The Nairobi varsity students are also charged with conspiring with others not before court to defraud Grace her money.

They denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Caroline Mugo.

The prosecution opposed their release on bail on grounds that they are a flight risk and may interfere with investigations.

However, through their lawyer, the accused persons opposed the application on grounds that they are not a flight risk and are ready to cooperate with the investigators.

The court wil make a ruling on their release on bail on 28th May 2025.
