A Congolese national has been charged in Nairobi with after allegedly being found in possession of fake dollars.
Abott Antony is accused of being in possession of USD 3600 (Apprx. Sh 460,000) forged currency notes, knowing them to be forged.
Antony is also charged with being unlawfully present in Kenya since he did not posess a valid pass or permit.
It is alleged that the accused person committed the offenses on 9th August 2025 at Travelers Guest House in Ngara, Nairobi.
He denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Dolphina Alego and was granted a Sh 500,000 bail.
