Former minister’s son charged with forging sister’s medical report in succession matter

A son of a former minister has been charged with forging a medical report for his sister.

Charles Githii Kamotho is accused of forging the medical report dated 12th October 2015 for Marianne Nyokabi Kamotho purporting it to be a genuine medical report made and signed by Dr. Mucheru Wangombe.

Kamotho is alleged to have committed the offence on 12th October 2015, at an unknown place with intent to defraud.

The accused is also charged with uttering a forged report to Deputy Registrar Milimani High court in a succession cause 1096/2017 purporting it to be a genuine medical report.

He is alleged to have committed the offence on 6th November 2020 at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi with intent to defraud.

Kamotho denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo.

His application to have the plea deferred was dismissed.

Upon denying the charges, Kamotho was released on a cash bail of Sh 150,000.
