A Government Printers employee has been charged with stealing 367 security featured serialized papers used for printing title deeds
Philip Wanjala Makongolo, a senior printer is accused of stealing the said papers which got into his possession by virtue of his employment.
Makongolo is alleged to have committed the offense between 21st June and 9th September 2024 at Government Printers along Haile Selassie avenue in Nairobi, jointly with others not before court.
He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina and was released on a cash bail of Sh 100,000 .
The case will be mentioned on 9th October 2024 for pre-trial directions.
