A nurse from Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has been charged with stealing medicine worth Sh81, 600.
Joseph Onyango Joel Migundo stealing twelve bottles Human Albumin Solution 100ML all valued Sh81, 600 the property of KNH which came into his possession by virtue of employment.
The accused is alleged to have committed the offence on diverse dates between 26th October and 9th December 2021 at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) in Nairobi.
Migundo is also facing a charge of handling stolen property. The court heard on 9th December 2021 at KNH within Nairobi County, otherwise than in the cause of stealing, dishonestly retained four bottles of Human Albumin Solution 100ML the property of KNH knowing or having reason to believe they were stolen.
The accused denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and denied the charges.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh 50, 000.
