Chief Justice Martha Koome has effected routine transfer of judges.
The transfers are to address the gaps created by the recent promotion of judges of the High Court to the Court of appeal.
Among the judges that have been transferred include Lady Justice Grace Nzioka who will no be the presiding judge in Naivasha with effect from 15th September 2022.
Justice Nzioka was the Presiding judge of the Criminal Division of the High Court.
Lady Justice Mugure Thande has been transferred from the Family Division to the Constitutional and Human Rights Division effective 1st August 2022.
Justice Anthony Mrima who was serving in the Constitutional and Human Rights Division will now be the Presiding judge of the High Court in Kitale from 1st August 2022.
Mrima’s appointment comes after the transfer of Justice Luka Kimaru to the court of appeal who was Presiding in Kitale.
Justice Kanyi Kimondo will now be the Presiding judge in the Criminal Division of the High Court effective 15th September 2022.
