A man has been charged with defrauding a house buyer Sh 2.5 million for a house in Soweto, Nairobi.
Zablon Rashid Minyonga is accused of defrauding David Mogunde Okachi by pretending that he would sell to him two houses in Soweto Zone A, a fact he knew to be false.
The Ridgeways resident is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 24th March 2019 and 22nd September 2022 in Soweto East Zone ‘A’, with intent to defraud.
The accused person denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Geoffrey Onsarigo.
He was released on a bond of Sh 500,000 with alternative cash bail of Sh 100,000.
