An agent of Mkondo wa Afrika Ltd has been charged with stealing over Sh 7.9 million.
Allan Kirawa Ogola is accused of stealing Sh 7,986,742.25 from Mkondo wa Afrika which was entrusted to him to remit to Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for housing levies and PAYE on behalf of the said Mkondo wa Afrika Ltd.
Ogola is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 1st March 2023 and 31st March 2024 in Nairobi County being an agent of Mkondo wa Afrika Ltd.
The accused person denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Robinson Ondieki.
He was granted a bond of Sh 1 million with alternative cash bail of Sh 200,000.
