A man from Murang’a has been charged with impersonating another at Stanbic bank.
Stephen Ngungu Kibiru is accused of presenting himself as Simon Kanyi Mbuthia to Fridah Chepkiyeng, the universal banker at Stanbic bank Buruburu branch.
Kibiru is alleged to have committed the offense on 6th May 2024 at the said branch, with intent to defraud.
He denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi and was released on a cash bail of Sh 150,000 and provide two contact persons.
