The director of Right Choice Tours and Safaris has been charged with defrauding tourists USD 12,450 (Apprx. Sh 1.6 million)

George Ogunda Okech is accused of unlawfully obtaining the money by pretending he was in a position to facilitate his and his colleagues’ tourist activities in various parts of Kenya, a fact he knew to be false.

Okech is alleged to have committed the offense between 8th December 2025 and 20th January 2026 at Town house in Nairobi CBD.

He denied the charges before Senior Resident Magistrate Irene Thamara and was released on a cash bail of Sh 100,000.
