Another suspect accused of stealing millions from Harambee savings and credit co-operative society has been charged.
Godwin Aseda Mark was arraigned before a Nairobi court and charged with stealing Sh 13, 645, 220, property of the sacco.
He is alleged to have committed the offence on diverse dates between 1st January 2017 and 7th February 2018 at the Sacco’s offices in Nairobi jointly with others not before court.
The accused pleaded not guilty before before Principal Magistrate Peter Ooko.
The prosecution requested the court to have the matter consolidated with two others already before court.
Aseda was granted a bond of Sh 1 million or a cash bail of Sh 300,000.
The matter was set for a mention on 14th May for purposes of consolidation.
The two other suspects were charged early this year.
