The High Court has ordered the police to produce missing Wajir Assistant County Commissioner and Huduma Center Manager before 16th September 2025.
Justice Chacha Mwita ordered that Hussein Abdirahman Mohamed be produced before any judge before the above date.
Mohamed disappeared on 8th July 2025 without a trace or notification to his family and close confidants.
According to lawyer Danstan Omari, Mohamed’s sudden disappearance raises eyebrows and questions only the Attorney General and the Inspector General of Police are poised to answer.
According to court documents, Mohamed was last seen flanking the Cabinet Secretary ministry of Public Service during his visit to the County of Wajir, shortly before he went missing on the 8th of July 2025.
It is alleged that Mohamed was last seen during the event of the visit of the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the ministry of Public Service to Wajir, where he sat among the dignitaries that were welcoming the Cabinet Secretary to Wajir County up and whisked to unknown and/or undisclosed locations.
While addressing media outside Milimani Law Courts, Omari noted that nobody in the government is concerned about Mohamed leading the family to believe he is in the hands of the government.
He said a man of Mohamed’s caliber cannot just disappear without a trace.
