An Equity Bank teller has been charged with stealing Sh 800,000 from the bank.
Ali Golicha is accused of stealing the said money which got into his possession by virtue of his employment.
It is alleged that Golicha committed the offense on 9th July 2024, at Equity Bank Kenya Limited Kiserian Branch in Kiserian township, Kajiado County.
He denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Martha Nanzushi.
Golicha will appear in court again tomorrow for bail terms after the investigating officer was summoned to appear after failing to refund his police bail.
