A Flex Air Charters Limited director has been charged with stealing over Sh 129 million from the company.

Nicholas Ngatia Njoroge is accused of stealing USD 18,170 (Apprx Sh 2,353,054) from Flex Air Charters Limited which got into his possession by virtue of his employment.

Njoroge is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 22nd August 2022 and 3rd February 2023 at Guaranty Trust Bank (Kenya) of Limited.

Other amounts he is accused of stealing between November 2020 and March 2023 include Sh 27 million, 7 million, 32 million, 22 million, 30 million, 2 million and another 4 million.

Njoroge denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Ben-Mark Ekhubi.

He was granted a bond of Sh 10 million with alternative cash bail of Sh 5 million.

The case will be mentioned on 29th April 2025.
