Man charged over Sh 8million fraud in donkey skin business


A businessman has been charged before a Nairobi court with Sh 8.1 million fraud.

Cliff Museti Obwogi is accused of obtaining the money from Kathiresan Naidu Subbramaniam by falsely pretending he was in a position to supply donkey skin to him, a fact he knew to be false.

The accused is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 5th and 17 January 2017 at Triple Agro Investments limited Ford Tena building in Kilimani in Nairobi.

Obwogi denied the charges before Senior Resident Magistrate Muthoni Njagi and was granted a cash bail of Sh 100,000.
