A man has been charged forging a document of title for a Sh 25 million parcel of land in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
Abdul Hassan Tahalil is accused of forging a document of title to land, namely an indenture purporting it to be a genuine and valid indenture drawn by the firm of CK Advocates.
Tahalil is alleged to have committed the offense on or before 10th August 2022, at unknown place within the Republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before court, with intent to defraud Mary Wairimu Muhoro of a parcel of land LR NO.36/1/18 situated in Eastleigh area, Nairobi.

In addition, the accused person charged with uttering the forged indenture to the Environment and Land Court in a suit relating to the said property on 30th November 2022 at Milimani Law Courts.
He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina and was granted a bond of Sh 1 million with one surety of a similar amount.
Alternatively, Tahalil can deposit a cash bail of Sh 500,000 and provide two contact persons to secure his release.
The case will be mentioned on 6th May 2026 for pre-trial directions.
