Lugari Member of Parliament Nabii Nabwere has threatened to take legal action against three bloggers for involving him in the disappearance of Munyuki High School Principal Simon Isiaho Shange.
Through lawyer Danstan Omari, the MP issued demand letters to Simon Asievela, Peter Amunga and George Opunga Tamata giving them 12 hours to pull down the defamatory articles or face legal consequences.
The three are said to have published the defamatory articles on Malava Online, Kakamega Post among other sites.
According to be the said posts, the publishers accuse the MP of being involved in the disappearance of Principal Simon Isiaho Shange.
“Should you fail to strictly abide by the demands of our client within the stipulated timelines, we shall move, without haste to press legal charges against you, in a bid to restitute our client’s dented reputation and accord him a chance to legally seek redress against the uninformed statements made against him…..” Omari said.
