A former employee of Lomas and Lomas Limited Company has been charged with stealing electrical accessories worth over Sh 92 million.
Naomi Mueni Mutua is accused of stealing the goods worth Sh 92,380,138 the property of Cable Connect Limited Company, a sister company to Lomas and Lomas Limited Company which got into her possession by virtue of her employment.
Mutua is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 1st January 2022 and 1st February 2024 at Industrial Area in Nairobi.
She denied the charges before Senior Resident Magistrate Paul Mutai.
Mutua was granted a bond of Sh 10 million with alternative cash bail of Sh 5 million.
The case will be mentioned on 28th September for pre-trial.
