A man has been charged with cheating another into paying him over Sh 8.9 million.
David Waweru Kamotho is accused of cheating by use of fraudulent tricks to induce Kipngeno Obed Kigen to pay USD 70,200 (Apprx Sh 8,985,600)
Kamotho is alleged to have committed the offense on 15th March 2023 at Westlands, in Nairobi county.
He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina and was released on a personal bond of Sh 1 million.
