A businesswoman has been been charged with carrying out a business of collective investment scheme without a license.
Sylvia Oshome is accused of knowingly carrying out the business namely Maxflex Investment Group Limited without a valid license insued by Capital Market Authority (CMA).
Oshome is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 26th October 2024 and 4th January 2025 at Jem Park Complex along Mombasa Road, Machakos, jointly with another before court.
She denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Ben-Mark Ekhubi and was released on bail.
