Esteem Energy Limited Director has been charged with forger in Sh 50 million land fraud belonging to Eveready Security Guards Company Limited.
Hassan Ibrahim Issak is accused of forging a certificate of title for the said land located in South B, Nairobi, with intent to defraud Eveready Security Guards Company.
Issak is accused of forging the certificate of title LR No. 209/22665 (original number 209/5924 IR NO.239781) measuring 0.0929 hectares dated 21st March 2022 under the name Esteem Energy Ltd, purporting it to be a genuine & valid certificate of title signed and issued by Charles Kipkurui Ng’etich, a fact you knew to be false
The official is also charged with forging PPA2 document No. 003094 dated 25th February 2020 purporting it to be a genuine PPA2 document issued by the then city council of Nairobi, a fact he knew to be false.
Issak is alleged to have committed the offense on unknown date and place within the Republic of Kenya.
In another count, the accused person is charged with malicious damage to property after unlawfully destroying an administration building block valued at Sh 7,485,000, the property of the security company.
He is alleged to have committed this offense on 5th September 2022 at south B in Nairobi County within the Republic of Kenya.
He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina and was released on a cash bail of Sh 200,000.
The case will be mentioned on 14th August 2025.
