Another suspect in the theft of over Sh 40 million from Afya Sacco has been charged.
Kelvin Muhati Amboye is accused of stealing the Sh 40.169.165.69 through FOSA accounts, the property of Afya Sacco Society Limited.
Amboye is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 20th April 2021 and 31st January 2025 at Afya Sacco Ltd in Nairobi, jointly with others before court.

In addition, the accused person is charged with conspiracy to defraud, acquisition of proceeds of crime and use of proceeds of crime amounting to Sh 2,801,616.
He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina. The case will be mentioned in January for consolidation with another already before court.
