A man has been charged with defrauding a company goods worth over Sh 7 million.
Samuel Maina Weru is accused of obtaining 990 jerricans of 20 liters of somofry cooking oil and 675 cartons of Menengai bar soap all valued at Sh 7,382,880 from Network Four Limited by falsely pretending that you were in a position to pay for the said goods, a fact you knew to be false.
Weru is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 26th November 2024 and 10th December 2024 within Nairobi, with intent to defraud.
He denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina and was released on bail.
