An American convicted sex offender has been charged again in Kenya with sexually abusing a three year old boy in Kenya’s Machakos County.
Terry Ray Krieger, 68, also faces charges of child pornography, being in Kenya illegally, benefiting from child prostitution, child abuse among others.
Krieger is accused that on diverse occasions between 1st October and 8th November 2023 at Great wall Gardens estate phase three, in Athiriver sub county within Machakos county, unlawfully sexually abused a child aged 3 years.
He is also charged that on diverse dates between 1st October and the 9th day of November 2023, at the same place, knowingly displayed obscene images by means of audio visual to a child aged 3 years with an intention of enabling him to engage in sexual acts.
The court further heard that the accused knowingly permitted a child aged 3 years to remain in his house to participate in indecent acts and displaying sex toys to a child with the intention of encouraging the child to perform such sexual acts.
Krieger is also charged with exposing the said child in an electronic online platform for purposes of Prostitution or any other unlawful sexual practice by use of the kid’s image for the purpose of sexual gratification.
In addition, Krieger is charged with unlawfully being in Kenya in contravention of Kenya immigration Act 2011.
He denied the charges before Mavoko Law Courts Chief Magistrate Barbra Ojoo. Krieger was denied bond.
However, the prosecution was ordered to produce records of his previous conviction in the USA and information of his pending warrants of arrest in said country within thirty days.
