Ethiopian national charged after failing to pay for goods worth millions in Kenya

An Ethiopian national has been charged with obtaining electrical goods worth over 6 million shillings by false pretences.

Liban Mohamed Yusuf is alleged to have obtained the assorted electrical goods valued at Sh 6,672,567 from Reshman International Limited.

Yusuf is alleged to have committed the offence on diverse dates between 9th February and 9th August 2021 at Reshman offices in Westlands, Nairobi.

The Ethiopian is said to have committed the offence jointly with others not before court.

He denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi.

He was granted a bond of Sh 3 million with alternative cash bail of Sh 1 million.
