Four Men have been charged in Nairobi with conspiracy to kill Kibera Lindi ward Member of County Assembly Jairus Omaya.
Josphat Nabutola, Wilson Ochilo, Kelvin Chakuto and Wycliffe Mugani are accused that on 4th February 2022 this year, at an unknown place jointly with others not before court, conspired together to murder Omaya.
According to the charge sheet, while along Ngong Road, the four were armed with dangerous weapons to wit a panga and metallic hammer in circumstances that indicated they were armed with intent to commit murder.
The accused persons denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Susan Shitubi.
The four will remain in custody pending the hearing of their bail application which the prosecution intends to oppose.
