Man charged with faking title deed and signatures

A man has been charged before a Nairobi court with making a title deed and forging signatures.

Jerald Munene Mugo was charged with making a certificate of title I.R 55963 LR. NO.209/11040 in the name of Sega Bakery Limited.
Mugo is accused of committing the offence on unknown date in the republic of Kenya jointly with others not before court without lawful authority and with intent to defraud.
The accused was also charged with forging the signatures Elizabeth N. Gicheha, a registrar of title and Wilson Gachanja, a commissioner of lands.
Mugo was further charged with forceful detainer of the said parcel of land.
He was charged with being in possession of the land, property of DR. Luka Musyimi Musau without colour of right in a manner likely to cause breach of peace or reasonable apprehension of  breach of peace against Musau who is entitled to the land by law.
The accused is said to have committed the offence between 2013 and 6th March 2018 at Imara Daima in Nairobi.
He pleaded not guilty before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and was granted a bond of Sh 300,000 or a cash bail of Sh 50,000.
The case will be heard on 4th April 2018
