A man has been charged with attempting to steal over Sh 2 million from First Community Bank.
Abdulrazak Jama Ali Bottan is accused of attempting to steal Sh 2,680,000 from the said bank on 23rd January 2019.
Bottan also faced another charge of conspiracy to defraud the bank the said money.
The accused allegedly committed the offence jointly with others not before court.
He denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Peter Ooko who granted him a bond of Sh 1 million or a cash bail of Sh 500,000.
The case will be heard on 20th February 2019.
