Three more charged over Sh 72M Nairobi West robbery

Three more suspects in the Sh 72 million Standard chartered bank robbery have been charge with robbery with violence.

Bernard Mwenda Mulee, Benson Makokha Siwaka and and Nahashon Mutua Mulee are accused of robbing G4S officers the millions which was in transit for restocking of ATMs at Nairobi West Shopping center.

The three are said to have threatened to use actual violence on the G4S staff before or after the said robbery.

The accused persons are further charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and malicious damage to 36 cassettes and 11 purge bins all valued at Sh 1.6 million, property of G4S company.

They denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi who granted them a bond of Sh 1 million and two sureties of a similar amount.


The case will be mentioned on 24th September for pre-trial.
