Two men have been charged for the second time with obtaining Sh 11 million from Ahmednasir Abdullahi Advocates LLP by pretending they could sell to him a piece of Land in Eastleigh.

Guyo Guchana Halake and Samsom Kimani Kamau are accused of obtaining the money from Ahmednasir who was acting on behalf of his client, Mohamud Heshi Abdi by falsely pretending that they were a position to sell to him land LR 36/VII/250 (Original No. 21/5) located in Eastleigh at a cost of Sh 120 million.

The 11 million was meant to be the advance deposit for the property.

The duo is alleged to have committed the offence between 17th January and 29th March 2022 in Nairobi, jointly with others not before court, with intent to defraud.

The two denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Wendy Kagendo.

Halake was granted a bond of Sh 3 million without alternative cash bail. On the other hand, Kamau was granted a bond of Sh 3 with alternative cash bail of Sh 1 million.
