An accountant at Africa Airlines Association has been charged with stealing Sh 6.8 million from the company.
Joshua Kipruto Ngetich Is accused that on diverse dates between 1st January 2022 and 31st December, 2023, at African Airlines Association office in South C within Nairobi, being an accountant at AAA stole money totaling to Sh 6,800,581 which got into his possession by virtue of his employment.
Ngetich is also charged with conspiring with others not before court to commit the offense of stealing.
He denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi.
The accused will remanded pending a pre-bail report which will help determine the appropriate bond terms.
The case will be mentioned on 21st February 2024.
