An employee of Chemi and Cotex (K) Limited has been charged with stealing Sh 39.9 million from the company.
Wycliff Mwangi Githinji is accused of stealing Sh 39,904,841 from Chemi and Cotex Ltd, money wich got into his possession by virtue of his employment.
Githinji is alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 1st January 2022 and 7th December 2023 within the Republic of Kenya, jointly with others not before court.
He denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and was granted a cash bail of Sh 3 million.
