Fake doctor James Mugo Ndichu alias Mugo wa Wairimu has been found guilty of running an illegal clinic and sedating women to rape them.
Chief Magistrate Wennndy Kagenndo said the prosecution proved the case beyond reasonable doubt.
Mugo who is already serving an 11 year jail is alleged to have committed the offences in 2015.
However, Mugo was acquitted of two counts out of the 12 counts he was charged with due to lack of evidence. Mugo was acquitted of the offence of rape and unlawfully hiring two students to work with him at his clinic.
During his defence hearing, Mugo had told the court to acquit him since he was not guilty of any offence.
He denied ever running a clinic nor practising medicine since he had not graduated.
After the judgement, Mugo asked the court to allow him to produce some documents before the sentence.
Mugo will be sentenced on 21st November 2022.
