Sonko offers Sh 100K reward for arrest of Directors behind Westlands home demolition

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has offered a reward of Sh 100,000 to anyone who will give police any information that will lead to the arrest of three Lariak Properties Limited directors.

The directors, Samuel Chepkwony, John Rotich and Joel Kiplangat are alleged to be behind the demolition of a multi-million home in Westlands, Nairobi without authority.

The trio is also accused of robbery with violence after allegedly robbing the occupants of the said property goods valued at Sh 18 million.

The auctioneer who was contracted to oustthe occupants without a lawful court order has also been presented in court.

Zachariah Baraza who works with Siuma Auctioneers is battling contempt of court charges for the unlawful demolition.

Sonko has been on the forefront fighting land grabbing in Nairobi.
