Three men have been charged with resisting arresting arrest among other counts.
Reuben Ochieng Bara, Denis Omondi Bara and Jared Onyango Opiyo are accused of assaulting Police Constable Robert Nyange who at the time of the said resistance was acting in the execution of his duty.
The three are alleged to have committed the offence on 29th January at Railways Matatu terminus in Nairobi.
The accused persons are charged with kidnapping the police officer.
Lastly, they are charged with assaulting PC Nyange by kicks and blows thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
They denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi who granted them a bond of Sh 300,000 or a cash bail of Sh 200,000.
The case will be mentioned on 11th February and will be heard on 5th March 2019.
