Two employees of CA Medlynks (K) Limited have been charged with stealing over Sh 4.5 million from their employer.
George Warui Gichuhi and Allyster Brian Ojiambo are also charged with the offense of conspiracy to defraud CA Medlynks Sh 4,527,950, the property of the said company.
The two are alleged to have committed the offense on diverse dates between 1st October 2021 and 17th May 2022 in Nairobi, jointly with others not before court.
Gichuhi is also charged with stealing Sh 2,223,300 from CA Medlynks, which got to his possession by virtue of his employment.
On the other hand, Ojiambo is charged with stealing Sh 2,304,650 from his employer between 1st April 2020 and 28th February 2022 in Nairobi.
The duo denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi.
They were each granted a bond of Sh 500,000 with one surety of a similar amount. Alternatively, they will each pay a cash bail of Sh 300,000 and provide one contact person.
